I worked on an idea for a four-part story arc (The Mata Quadrilogy) and this one is for The Merging Duo.

Idea symnopsis: Dr. Cortex has been defeated by Crash Bandicoot three times already, and he's being dragged into a dimensional portal from a malfunctioning time twister (going into a nonstop swirling torrent of multiple realities). Teridax sees Cortex's dimensional suffering and uses his demonic magic to bring Cortex into the Matoran Universe. What you're seeing is Neo meeting Makuta Teridax for the first time in person. I thought giving this the color of green would suite the atmosphere best (since Terry here is made of antidermis. That would make sense). I also had ideas of making Teridax completely black with a shadowy cape-like coverage surrounding him. I also got to smudging the green markings in the background (which would make this feel more of a painting of the two sociopathic monsters meeting each other for the very first time.
