I have been monkeying with this concept for quite some time. I have sketched and resketched the expression and the proportions of the body on that pony so many times that Applejack the world-weary barkeep now haunts my dreams.Poor Spike. So destined for heartbreak.

The art is fine but not the point, the humour is and it is excellent. Early Simpsons cartoon looked average on the Tracy Ullman show, only expected to last 3>4 years, that's now in it's 27th season...So?

I never saw this as a ship, myself, more of a "Barkeep Applejack makes idle conversation with the sad lonely alcoholics to pass the time 'till closing".
But somebody asked to put it there, and if they get a little enjoyment out of the picture that way, who am I to stop them?

I would like to read that if you do. The only thing I ask is that you keep the bar named The Spoiled Barrel (There's a sign on the wall where they hang the town ordinance mandated "Occupancy Limit 85 Ponies" sign. Underneath it someone has scrawled "and one bad Apple...")
