Description
Apologies in advance to practitioners of beautifully expressive Afro-Carribean religions; I did absolutely no research past watching Major League something like 20 years ago.
Vine charcoal and charcoal pencil on a mixture of tan strathmore and cheap sketch paper, stitched together in GIMP.
And it only took two months to get around to finishing this after posting the quick and dirty pencils. That'll teach me to show a work in progress.

This is hilarious even if it's not even remotely accurate to what the dolls are meant for. I do enjoy the style and the charcoal pencil's effects so I think I'll definitely check out some of your other work. Great job

I've been using charcoal to teach myself shading and improve my digital painting. It's a very soothing medium to work in.

The dolls are fine. It's the pony and/or dragon playing with the dolls you gotta watch out for.

Third to last panel is supposed to be Twilight in the foreground with RD and Fluttershy visible in the background sky, but small drawings in charcoal are hard to detail if you're lazy like me.

The comic premise is quite amusing. I'd just like to point out tho that "voodoo dolls" are a form of pretty common sympathetic magic, and have jack shit to do with the Vodou religion.
