This idea came to me, of all times, while I was brushing my teeth. My wife found me scribbling, "feather bookmarks" in a notebook while frothing at the mouth.She worries sometimes...

The traditional spelling of his name is "Aloysius", which is a latin name similar to Louis or Luigi. Β ("Luigi the Owl" amuses me far too much.) Β

I have been told that it's not so bad (like molting) as long as she stays away from "pinion" feathers, whatever those are. Surprising number of bird experts amoung the pony fans. Pegasus enthusiasts?

probably. i know pegasi are my favorite species myself (mostly thanks to Rainbow Dash and Scootaloo)...but i'm no expert either. i do know i see my pet bird plucking feathers occasionally, so maybe not to bad after all

However I hope that Twilight will open herself to more then just reading and her magic, after all she can now fly and her strength and endurance increased, she can now try her luck in sport as well.

I am genuinely curious to see how they use this event to develop Twilight as a character, though. Lots of story possibilities.
