He has got a smashing face to paint, in fact both of them do.
I love the fact that although they are good looking they also have interesting faces...they don't have bland model-boy good looks.
It's much more interesting to paint someone who's distinctive.

I explained a bit more in my other reply.
But, as regards the commission question, no, as I only give stuff away, I prefer to just paint what I feel like.
I am still deeply obsessed with Merlin and Arthur though, so I no doubt will do more portraits of them. But I can't guarantee how soon it will be. (I work full time, so I don't get anywhere NEAR as much time to paint as I'd like.

I'm so sorry I've taken absolutely ages to reply. Christmas and all that sorta stuff has gotten in the way and I haven't had a chance to go on DA for a while.
Thanks for your address. I've noted it down, and added you to my DA watching list, so I can find you again. (As soon as I've sent this reply I'll hide your comment, just so your address isn't sitting out there on the internet.)
I think the problem with fanart and selling, is that I would be okay painting Colin Morgan, and selling it, (providing it was a photo that didn't have a photographer's copyright on it). But the character of "Merlin" as portrayed on the BBC in those clothes etc. IS copyright, so if I painted him AS Merlin, then I'd be on very dodgy legal ground.
I don't think the BBC is too down on stuff like that, (whereas Disney of course, are notorious!) (And I don't think you'd get away with it on Harry Potter either...)
But, I think I'd prefer just to give them away anyway. The money I might make from selling them, would be less than the pleasure I get from giving them away.
Oh, and yes, by all means, feel free to use the art of icons. I'd be flattered. (It's why I never put those watermark symbols or anything across them. If anyone wants to download them or print them off or use them, then I don't mind one bit.)
