(illustration: dragonballgt, son goten and torankusu briefs)They say the eyeballs are the window to the soul. Seeing as these two haven't been "Gotenkusu" for at least ten years (upwards of twenty, maybe), the eyes may be all they've got, now.
This took a week, off and on, in between classes (and skipping two of them!). Maybe twelve hours, counting the initial sketch and ink.
I was listening to Muse's "Endlessly" on repeat this whole week. (Shhhh.)

This is just ridiculously gorgeous. Nice and flowy and simple attractive lines. I like the figures and the contrast between tan-light blue-dark blue and how it compliments the symmetry you put in. But on that note, you kept them just off center so it feels more dynamic.
What would I say to change? Goten's head seems a bit narrow at the back and they're a little distorted but that could just be a stylistic thing. The only real issue's that his forehead needs to come out a little more to keep the right shape. Good stuff.

This picture, although quite serene, somehow just really screams at me. Not in a negative way, don't worry... there's just a sense of devotion (beyond love, that's what I'm trying to say here) between these two that's expressed in this picture that's really captivating. The colours are well chosen as well although I personally think the background is less (though not at all bad) compared to the rest of the picture. The picture made me look into the song (and I'm NOT a fan of Muse at all. It's just not my thing). Regardless of my sentiments for Muse, the song fits even if I shut it down because the picture as it is fits in total silence as it says enough without anything else. I think this is the best picture of these two as adults I've seen to date, especially considering their relationship. Are the lines harder on Trunks for a special reason?

Endlessly is on repeat whenever I need a good cry (to release the built up bodily toxins, you understand...)

very great image with only one small problem-- i find goten's skull to be too small in the back. it makes head look mis-proportioned. especially when compare to torankusu.

Thank you very much. I'm extremely proud of this one <3 It's probably my best work to date.
I have noticed that Goten's skull is a little smaller, and I think I'd attribute it to me running out of space on the page, when drawing... but if you want my professional opinion, maybe Torankusu just has a big head to match his occasionally big ego. :3
