This page reminds me of the 'Hunger Games' with the way the intermissions were structured. Of course, that's all I can think of when I read these projects... Hunger Games meets Invader Zim... It's like one giant crossover (No, wonder I like it so much).
By any chance, did you get the intermission idea from the movie?

I did draw quite a bit of inspiration from that scene in the movie for this.
Considering blood sport is also a TV show it made sense that there would be moments like this in the transmissions.

I like crossovers, especially giant crossovers. It was a good idea.It does blend very nicely with the comic overall, and I had such a geek moment when I saw it.

I always have enjoyed drawing expressions, change the smallest thing in the brows or eyes and they can read off as something entirely different.
