Description

About time I whipped together a reference sheet for this bugger! I actually have had this OC for almost a year and a half! More than that actually, almost two years. But just never found the time to introduce him to ya. Along with BloodSport apparently, my goal is to throw together these reference sheets together for ya'll. They aren't gonna have too much backstory on them, though trust me there is plenty to tell, to find out the grisly details of these characters you'll just have to wait for the comic my friend ~Alison-lynn and I are going to be making.

So then!
The Details I shall share with ya about this bugger.
If I was to try and make a summary of his personality for you, I suppose it would be a mixture of a few chararacters:
Doctor House
Sherlock Homes
Dr. Cal Lightman (Lie To Me)
and
Karkat (Homestuck)

I suppose you could say his personality really isn't the best one to have. He has some pretty bad anger issues, which have caused him conflicts in the past. As it says in the note part of the reference sheet he really is more likely to harm patients then help them. So as you can imagine he has lost a few jobs, he actually is an excellent doctor, when he isn't in a bad mood.
Physically Serious isn't the most muscley of the Irkens out there, actually he tends to avoid anything physically straining, unless he looses his temper. Then he is willing to fight the freaking armada on his own as long as he gets to rip the person he is mad at a new one at the end of it.

One thing to add to the list of things he despises is that he severely dislikes people that just can't seem to take things seriously, no pun intended there , he tends to take everything a bit too seriously. Not caring that he should lighten up. So as you can imagine, that causes quite a few problems with Archer, the said overly amused irken he is trying to 'poison' in the top right picture.

Along with his sparkling personality comes a pretty bad addiction;
Pain pills.

Undoubtedly if anyone is around him for a long period of time they will notice him taking out a small bottle and popping a few of these white little medicine tablets more than once in a hours. The darn things are practically a steady part of his life now. Though even though there is an actual reason for his addiction to these little white pills he does tend to take more than he should, especially when he is in a particularly bad mood. (yes he can get worse then he usually is ) There is an side effect of this little habit of his unfortunately, due to the constant pill popping as long as he keeps up with his dose he practically can't feel pain.
Which doesn't particularly help when he is intent on killing someone and you're trying to stop him. Slicing his arms, or hitting him over the head most definitely isn't going to work. Best option pin him down if you can without being maimed yourself.
Cause when this guy looses his temper he is a force to be reckoned with at least for a short amount of time until his next fix. So in a sense his anger comes in waves! You just got to predict when to start running away from the water and how long it will take for the waves to dissipate.

Note: If he starts smirking, or smiling in any disturbingly rage filled manor, run. Cause usually that is around the time he is going to break into one of his violent out bursts.

On another addiction which had much less an impact on his body or his personality, is an addiction to sweets. If it has sugar in it he loves it. Willy Wonka would be out of business if he ever had let this Irken into his factory.
Pills and Candy(sweets,cake,pie,taffy,chocolate,soda) practically anything sweet, he will gladly consume. Unfortunately though, he would rather eat sweets than actual food. Leading to a few arguments between him and his 'companions' when it comes to how his eating habits are.

Serious actually has a extremely high IQ, this contributing to a lack of selection on job options for him, along with training when he was a smeet. Once again due to facts I can't mention. This contributes with his anti-social behaviors. He much rather would not interact with anyone due to the fact he finds their sheer amount of unintelligent unbearable. To the point that he just can't be bothered with them at all and would rather lock himself away from society than deal with the idiocy of others. Which most the time he does.
When he is being hired by someone, because his job if I haven't mentioned it, is that Serious is a freelance Doctor. Working for anyone as long as they have the cash. Serious is undeniably GREEDY. You have money he wants it, so when it comes to who he fixes up, he doesn't care if it is rebels, soldiers, or just random people that come to his door. He will gladly do it as long as you have the money, if you don't well.. He isn't one to leave someone in dept so he probably would just turn the people away if they weren't badly injured. But at the same time, Serious does have a few issues when it comes to severely injured people, call it a compulsion that he will start taking care of that person no matter what pay it is that has been offered even if it is drastically less then the amount he would usually be owed. If the alien in front of him is dying while they speak he won't wait to haggle, just act.

Another fun fact about Serious is that he makes his own medicine. Usually derived from natural herbs or from animal venom's depending on what he is trying to create. So he has a very good sense about what herbs are poisonous as well, or that can cause severe stomach issues for the next few days. Something that when he isn't have a full out cursing match with who ever is pissing him off he will gladly drip into their drink.

He tends to over analyze things because of this IQ, taking littlest of details and dissecting them in order to get a conclusion. Causes quite a few issues for him when it comes to relationships with others, mainly because before you admit something to him, or tell him a secret, he probably will have figured it out before that point. Not to mention when an argument between Serious and another being ensues he will gladly use it to tear them to shreds. But also he knows when someone is lying, causing him to have quite a few trust issues you could say. Cause when you are able to figure if someone is lying to you, and how often you kinda loose your faith in the species.
So rather than trust people, he would rather pick apart every small thing they do, or expression they make and come to his own conclusion.
Not to mention:
He finds it a bit amusing to make people squirm when he has complete control of the situation, perhaps a bit sadistic with that kind of behavior.

So yeah! This is my lovely Doctor character ;D A walking sack of personal life issues and pure hate!
