Here we are! Yet another image of good ol' Ulli!

Ullitrius actually resides primarily in ever-expanding swamp-like territory of Ephomeris. Although he does frequently venture out into different waterways to hunt and explore, as he tends to be more abnormally curious than the average Yhosymph. He does actually some interests besides ripping people apart, and will linger in the shallows observing the Meridians, primarily otherworlders, which he is oddly fascinated by. (Going as far as learning to mimic and eventually speak “Common”, the universal language of the otherworlders.) However, he probably would not think twice about ripping them apart if one wandered too close.

Just like Sauvakian and Ephiri, the Symph are capable of bioluminescence. Unlike the other two races of the planet however, Yhosymphs can manipulate the natural light. They possess the ability to switch the light on and off at whim, while the other Meridians only glow during dusk and night hours.

You can't chase down someone if your lit up like a glow stick, now can you?

Funnily enough, the Yhosymph's have the most extensive bioluminescent patterns out of the three races.
The Meridians see the bioluminescence as a sign of their connection to the Ethereal, the spiritual realm which provides the energies that flow through all things. The more bioluminescent one has, the more that being is bound/influenced/connected to the Ethereal.

Due to the stigmas around the Yhosymph, and lack of friendly interaction, (cause really who has time to look when your running for your life) Meridian’s have come to believe the Yhosymph have little to no connection with the Ethereal. So one might imagine the controversy they would cause if others knew of their illumination.

Yhosymph are treated as animals: wicked creatures of with void-like Aura that devour all light. They are to be feared and shunned.

But, then again…monsters aren’t born.
