REALLY BIG FREAKING FILE:: DOWNLOAD FOR BEST VIEWJust a wee bit of proof for you guys that just because I am not posting art, doesn't mean I am not working on it. Some of these are pretty old, but a majority of the art here has been done in the last few months. I actually have more but I suppose I'll save those for when I do my next giant art dump, whenever that is going to be in the foreseeable future.
Some of the images I included in here were WIP's and I hope to finish in the future so don't be surprised to see the completed version popping up at some point.
All art and most of the characters belong to Octeapi
The photos at the bottom were generously given to me during a stream by the artists to let me draw. SO obviously they own their own face.

Oh they're amazing, the different ways you can tweak a face and make it show something completely different then before, its completely astonishing.
Do it, seriously, he has a friggen amazing face and such a wide variety of over the top expressions. Its amazing.

I remember seeing the comic and character concepts for that one alien family before.
I just really like concepts tbh, they're interesting and it helps me figure out how to design as well.
Aaa yess, I know. I love trying new expressions and giving a drawing a whole new feeling with how they're posed and expressed.
it's amazing what you can do with a just a few alternate lines.

Yeah, old art can really inspire you. Either to do better and further motivate or to re-do an old pic cause it was a pretty good idea a while back, and since you're skills have grown you can really give it more depth and a nicer look it deserves.
Right? lol I recently made a vortian oc with deer antlers and I gave him a hat and right after I was like "........shoot.....how does he get it on and off?" and then I made it have a string in the front XD lol I might rework it though.
Oh yeah? That sounds cool, is it a speed up kinda thing or real time? Watching people draw is pretty interesting, see their technique and style of doing it.
I use to hate it when people would watch me draw because then I couldn't really concentrate cause I'd feel like they were judging every movement heh lD but it's not so bad now.
I have more confidence in my drawing skills.

When I was younger I always so petrified and embarassed by my own work. It was like the skeleton in the closet that I would try and hide, but now the art I did in the past is so important to me. Its where I came from, and shows where I used to be. And the amount of improvement from then to now. That is just the best part of it to me, being able to see the growth and using it as a tool to continue moving forward.
I can only imagine how many hats he must go through then with those kind of horns!

If it was real time the video would be several hours long, its 2000x faster then the original clips were.
Oh I did too, the first time I tried to stream I practically had an anxiety attack due to it and had to end less then an hour after I started due to being so nervous.
I felt like everyone was silently judging me for each line i made, but eventually I got more confident and now really enjoy streaming when I can!

Man, do I hear you on that, every time I get down on my ability to draw, especially being involved in such a wide community of Artists who's talents are literally cosmic and magical and unbelievable, there's nothing that can remind you more of how far you've come than your old work.
The joy that radiates off it from just wanting to draw a simple picture for no special reason but just for the love of drawing. and then comparing it to what you can do now after years of practice and dedication!? It is definitely a glorious and happy feeling to get back on your feet and continue pushing forward.
Thats why I like it when artists leave their old work in their galleries and why I still have mine too, as a reminder and proof that You Will Get Better At Drawing(.)
Oh he's careful about it, but he does always keep an eye out for hat shops or bulks up on cloth material for repairs lol.

But seriously, just keep working at your art and improving! Don't limit yourself to one medium or type of art, expand your boundaries at every opportunity. I'm sure you'll be able to make outstanding images that will blow people away.
