And here we have the reclusive Enya working away on some damaged wires, it truly is fortunate she is a small gal otherwise she might not have fit up there to fix the problem. What ever that problem may be, perhaps there are some rodents running around chewing through wires like the suicidal creatures they are. Unfortunately that leaves her to clean up the messes, not entirely sure she minds though. As long as the creatures aren't still alive and kicking when she comes around I imagine.If any of you were not aware recently I designed a new main outfit for little Enya~! For comic purposes I figured I should get around and design some more Sci-fi themed outfits for the characters involved. Expect more of these in the future, anyways though you can find the reference for her new outfit posted on my lovely friend headamuse 's page~!
We had both been working on new outfits for some characters, and with a little tweaking after realizing the poses worked well together we ended up with this~!

Absolutely fucking amazing work. I love your use of color theory, perspective. I love the analogous colors with the monochromatic touch. You can never go wrong with such monochrome. I really think it sets the mood for panic here, the experssion and hurried body language? YES.

You know it really makes it worth while when you are doing these kinds of pieces, that someone takes the time to notice all these little details that you put into it. Not to mention take from their time to leave you such a complimentary well written and considerate comment.

CGIgal also leaves these fantastic comments like you do, really they make my day. I can't say how much it means to get a good comment other than the average 'cool' or 'nice job'. It is something that you can look forward to when you finish a piece that is for sure!
I would of replied sooner, unfortunately i am just slow at getting to my messages and have a very bad habit of letting them build up into very high numbers. A habit I am trying to break, but I always read every message I get. And try to reply to each of them as well... Eventually BD;

Beautiful! I'm really liking the color palette you chose for the piece, and the composition! And your background elements are always fun to look at -- you have such a knack for sci-fi environments. I even enjoy the more subtle details like the stickers on her Enya's toolbox -- creates more interest and makes it more "personal" to the character. This new outfit you designed for her is really nice, along with the awesome headset she's wearing!

I used to hate doing backgrounds actually, despised them though they were tedious and annoying. But after thinking of them more like they are just another character of the story it makes it a while lot different while I am working on them. Honestly I love drawing my backgrounds just as much as I do putting my oc's in them.
The headset is a new element to her but it will be hanging around for awhile I think.
