First appearance: Kirby's Adventure (1993)

Meta Knight from the ”Kirby” series. He is a mysterious knight and army leader that owns a massive airborne battleship called the Halberd. He is armed with the Galaxia sword, that creates powerful sword beams, and Dimensional Cape, that gives the wearer teleportation abilites. Acting as Kirby's rival and "frenemy", Meta Knight sometimes wants to spread chaos in Dreamland, and at other times he helps out Kirby on his adventures. Presumably being of the same species as Kirby, he and the pink puffball acts as each other's polar opposites; one is reddish-coloured with a childlike and cheery personality; the other is bluish-coloured with a mature and muted personality.
Friend or foe, Meta Knight’s opponents has to be prepared for some mad sword-fighting skills and swift movements from the veiled warlord!
In 2008, Meta Knight swiftly swept into Nintendo’s biggest fighting franchise as a playable character. His motives there are more clear than in his home series: just smash and slash through the many franchises of the gaming world!
