Seeing Melanite warm the egg makes Calamity slump down to the floor of the tree house, the damage the cold had done to her finally sinking it.

She laugha, straight up laughs, tears still spilling from her eyes.

Melanite cracks open an eye, hear magic still flowing through her onto the egg's shell.

"What's so funny?"

"Dont you see Mel? I'm not suppose to be here." Tears begin to stain her face, she looks sad now. "I almost lost another one..."

Melanite wants to ask what she means, though remembering her conversation with Purisma the last time Calamity had an egg in her pocession she decides to keep her mouth shut, least till she finds out a way to properly word it.

For now, she'll just focus on warming the egg so Calmaity can make it hone safely with it.
