What would you wish for?

This is oddly satisfying, and I'm scared that i find it so.Β

While it would be in character for me to ask a question like this the question was actually submitted by alexwarlorn.Β Just want to make sure that credit is given where credit is due.
And for the record if I found that lamp I'd use my first wish for the knowledge of how to safely free the three of them from that lamp.

I'm glad to hear you enjoyed this one!
That'd definitely be kind of you. Most people probably wouldn't do that.

Well it's either that or waste the first wish on a sandwich, and those three are acting so out of character that I doubt I'd think of the sandwich due to how shocked I'd be at Nanami's behavior.

Ha ha, fair enough. But...what if you thought of Pizza instead?

Well I've already seen the Fairly Odd Parents special Fairy Idol a few times so I know not to waste the first wish on food, or the second wish on power for that matter.

Ah, that's pretty much "avoiding being screwed by genies 101". I haven't seen that show in a really long time. That said, the specials with the genie were a lot of fun.

Yeah those were fun.Β Still you know the wish is bad when it's the Genies who make the video on "how your three wishes will play out" solely because of how often the first wish is for a sandwich.

Did you ever see Gargoyles the disney animated series? In particular the part with Xanatos and Puck?

Obedient Slave Nanami: Sorry, Master, but I have not watched that Animated Cartoon. Watching animated cartoons doesn't really help me in serving my masters, so I haven't watched it. If one of my masters asked me to though, I would of course do so.
((Out of Character: I've never seen Gargoyles, sorry. ))

"In the show's backstory, when Xanatos, the show's main antagonist, met Puck, yes that Puck, he offered Xanatos a choice: One wish without restriction, or a life time of loyal service, Xanatos chose the latter." Β

Obedient Slave Nanami:Β I hope one of my masters does not ask me to grant such a wish. An entire lifetime of service would prevent me from serving many other people. While I am always happy to serve, I appreciate the opportunity to serve many masters over the time, and such an offer would hamper that greatly. That said, if a master were to desire it, I would have to offer my services in that capacity.

"Can't you just go back in time after I've died of old age?"Β

Obedient Slave Nanami: Unfortunately, time travel is supposed to be heavily limited, unless it is required for a specific wish. Time paradoxes will prevent me from serving my masters properly. I'd like to avoid them whenever possible.

(One of the big twists in Gargoyles was that Xanatos' right hand man, Owen, was really Puck, yes, that Puck. When he and the other fae were temporarily exiled from Avalon to live among humans, he would encounter Xanatos, future human son-in-law to QueenΒ Titania... Puck decided to reveal his true form to Xanatos and gave him an choice: "One wish from the Puck, or a lifetime of loyal service from Owen, he chose Owen!"
Basically, Xanatos decided that a lifetime of loyal service (and someone who was unconditionally loyal and was would serve him faithfully until Xanatos died of old age) was more valuable than a wish. )Β

(That sounds interesting. To be honest, when you mention "Puck", I can only think of the character from Berserk. )
