My entry for the "think pink II" contest

This is my first attempt at designing a poster, and I'm very happy at how this turned out, I'm getting my practice up for my portfolio to get into a graphic design uni course, so any constructive crit would be great.

I started yesterday, with the idea of taking "fight for a cure" literally, and have been working on it on and off since then, using Corel Painter IX for the graphic and background colour, and Photoshop CS2 for the text, I didnt even scan a sketch, just went straight to the computer (necer done that properly before). So this comes under the digital arts category

If you download you get the original A3 size version you can print out and post around your school or town to raise awareness. I give my permission for this to be re-distributed as long as no one other than the breast cancer charities are making any money off it. And of course, no claiming it as your own, art theft is bad kids.

I hope you enjoy! All work was done by me, using myself and my pants as reference. (Altough I dont have a rad arse mowhawk or pink ribbon knuckledusters unfortunatley) And this chicky, Oddball for now, seems to be becoming a mascot of mine, so she is copyright to me
