As I walk the desolate streets, the pavement cracked and warped beneath my feet, my eyes shift from right to left and back again. It has been days already and the sheer disbelief is still holding strong. Buildings that once stood tall and majestic, daring to reach for the stars, are now nothing more than shattered husks. Concrete and steel litter the ground around me, making my travels treacherous. The wind howls through the bones that remain of this once great city and I feel the tears come again. So much lost, so much reduced to ruin in a single momentβ¦ all due to a single mistake. It would begin like any other day, but the events to follow would go down as one of the greatest disasters in human historyβ¦
I may have to see if I can't continue this... that sounded really ominous. Hope you like it, and once again, Welcome Back OddPixels. Hope you're feeling better.

That is sooooo good to hear. I was getting worried again. Not to say I expect you to post a lot, it's just the last I heard, you were still not feeling well. I'm glad that's changed.
The thought I offered you has been nagging at me for a bit, but nothing was coming to me as a way to continue. Perhaps with this image inspiration I will finally be able to expand on the concept.
Now, since you have been so kind in regards to the other two stories I wrote for you, and since your image will once again be a catalyst for me, I wanted to ask you a question. In my mind, the female character in the image has become the speaker of the words I sent you, and my question to you is this...
What would you like her name to be? It can be whatever you want, just let me know.

Passing the ball back to me huh? Well, I'm not all that sure what to call her either. I could definitely come up with something considering I have probably created several hundred female characters for my stories, but I was hoping to get some direct input from you.
Perhaps, if it's alright with you, I could name her after you. (obviously I don't mean calling her OddPixels) Let me know what you think of the idea, or if you have other name suggestions.

So, The Bionic War officially has it's hero, all she needs now is someone to tell her story, and from what I can gather of the scene she's in, it will be one hell of a story too. Thanks for this, OddPix... Rachel.
