You laugh as your father lifts you high above his head, spinning you around, and he laughs with you. It is a beautiful summer's day - the sun is bright, the air is warm and balmy on your skin. And you are happy, Nothing! You are so, so happy.

Context notes: "Oil paint behind glass" is a reference to the three lockets Nothing found a couple of sessions prior, featuring portraits of three tieflings she realised were herself and the parents she'd never known or even remembered - nobles, by the look of their clothes and the fact they could afford to have lockets painted and gently enchanted against water damage.
