EDIT:Changed her ear, found a better photo ref of a Pom... xB Looks better now.
Trying to update a lot of my mutant characters as they were all originally lupes from neopets (most) and so I changed them to wolves, but now it's monotonous. So I'm changing any wolf to a diff canine (where applicable, not all of them of course).
So this is Li- the water manipulator- I've made her a Pomeranian
It works for her. ^.^(No reference used! I amazed myself!)

I honestly never would have guessed pomeranian. My first thought was "Akita!" but I failed

Well, Akita's have longer snouts, you'd be able to tell more if her head was turned, but I do see that cuz her face is more elongated (being anthro) it would look more like an akita. xD Thanks!

Well, if it's more 'were' as it were, and tribal, you can get away with doing really fluffy like a normal animal. I've seen that too. But, doesn't work with my style as I don't do overly fluffy 'were' looking anthro's xD

true, I mean I've seen really fluffy wolf anthro characters (mainly werewolves) but I meant that I've never seen any other kinds, like the pomeranian, or fluffy cats for that matter. I've seen LOADS of fluffy tails tho :3
also, I find you stick to the short-fur variety because it's more skin like in relative to humans, (except for werewolf tribesman). Giving them that extra persona, (including 6-packs and human-like nipples ["teehee I typed nipples XD"]) can let the audience relate to your characters a little more. Plus it gives that visual stimulation and sex appeal that humans crave a lot, (stupid visual creatures!!). If that's not why you do it b/c of the simplicity of short haired animals then that's cool too...I'm sorry I'm in a long-reply-answer mood lol

Haha I tried to make a pom anthro but he turned out freakish looking because I based him off my dog, who somehow turned out to be the fluffiest pomeranian I have ever seen ever.
The water in this picture is goooorgeous btw. All those colours... *-*

Lol! Poms are indeed fluffy, so hopefully this is pulled off well enough even though she's not fluffy she still looks like a Pom lol. xD
