Why do so many people do this to Rarity? More so than any of the other ponies? Is it because she's the last pony you'd expect to do that or is it one of those fetish based things? I type in the name of any other Mane 6 then the letter "f" and google search suggestions say "friendship is magic", "fighting is magic", "fanfiction", or "fanart" (which is the one I'm going for), but with Rarity, the second suggestion says...
Sorry if this sounds like a troll post, I respect that other people have their own interests, but I just don't want Rarity to become a symbol of that, seeing how easily memes can be formed or even be made official in this fandom

I didn't know that either. Also, I'm not sure if drawing would be a very accurate term since the word typically refers to linework without respect to color. I also wouldn't call it a painting since it's obviously not made of any type of paint, and was not made with the intention of mimicing such an appearance. Illustration might be a better word, but I'm not really sure since it seems like an excessive generalization.
