My half an art trade with .I've never drawn ShinoTen before, and the art gods...seem to ironically approve o_o. But my sister said if not NejiTen it would be NejiLee (in that order) so....sorry Shino. I'm still going to have to invent someone for you.
My thought process went something like "ShinoTen huh?...What would they do as a couple?...................................................walks. I think they'd both like walks."

This is a really great picture! I think what really made it was the fact that they look like they are so happy, and they are just holding hands. I mean if it were any more intimate I probably wouldn't have liked it much, but who knows lol.
Shino approves of this pairing. You can tell.
I do think Shino and TenTen would be cute, but...NejiTen is DESTINY!

I really like this picture. And right after NejiTen I like this Tenten pairing best. Just something about Shino makes me think he and Tenten would get along well. Great job on their expressions and hands. Also the shading and background is very well done! I like how much taller Shino is than Tenten to. Don't know why.

Yeah, after reading your stuff and everything I've kinda started to see LeeTen as one of those close friendships that could be confused as romantic love between the two, but it's more just deep friendship. I think Lee having a crush on Tenten early on is very plausable, but I think that's all it really would be. Just a cute little kid crush that we all get. I remember one of my best guy friends I wanted to marry in elementary school. XD

Guy loves his kids, but they drive him nuts. Particularly when Lee is a mood to rile TenTen up, because no one can push her buttons like he can

LOL! Lee knows exactly what buttons to push, when to push and how many he can get away with pushing at the exact same time! Which of course leads to her freaking out, Neji getting in the middle to try and save Lee's life and Guy has to pull her off of both of them before he has two dead bodies and a lot of explaining to do. Poor man. He probably has a collection of stress balls.

She's really just a good person and sensei. Strict when she had to be to keep her students alive in a war, but usually just a kind and caring individual. Poor thing doesn't deserve the fate I gave her.

There's really nothing you can do. You can't hold on to tight because then it only hurts worse, but you can't let go either because then that's like just abandoning them.

It really is. I feel so bad for Guy to because he's still there and senseis seem to become like a parent almost to their teams. So in a way...it might have been like loosing his mom.

That was sort of my thought. That war had been going on for a while, and I'll bet most of the kids around his age are orphans. Thus, Kaori's goal.

And Guy is doing everything he can to carry that goal out! Because in a way, his team are orphans of war. Neji's dad was killed to stop one from happening, Tenten's parents are so consumed with drugs and alcohol so she's like an orphan as well because of the abuse, and Lee...even if he has his mom, he's kind of like the kid that everyone else forgot. So he's an orphan of war in that he was forgotten. Plus I'm convinced his dad left. Don't know why, or if this makes sense, but yeah.

They really are. They certainly are orphans, and all three of them forgotten. They're all unwanted, and until Guy nobody cares about them at all. Which is why I think they're all so close. All they have is each other, and when that's all you've got to lose you'll keep it as safe as you can.

I agree. They really only have each other at this point and they can't bear to even think about loosing a part of it. Plus they're all so different and have such strong personalities that they probably aren't close to many other people.

I think most everyone is afraid of them. They're so...intense, that to those outside it's probably scary. And it would be hard to get close to them when they're already so close.
I always had to look after my sister. Part of my very mothering personality I think. I probably would have followed you everywhere, totting my first aid kit in a bottle along behind.

Yeah! I mean, Lee comes up to Sakura after two seconds and is like: I LOVE YOU!" and when Neji finds Lee in the forest of death and he looked at the guy's that did it he was like: I KILL YOU! And when Tenten was helping Lee regain consciousness she was all: WAKE UP IDIOT!!! *shakes*
True. Sometimes it's just impossible to fight it. If he stops Tenten from playing with explosives...well she'll do it somewhere else where it's not as safe.
That's really sweet you did that. ^_^ lol. I would have given you lots of use for it I think. I was always climbing trees, running around and I've fallen off of more swings while in the air than a four year old. XD

That's true. He's painfully aware that, as much as acts like it, he is NOT their parent or legal guardian, he has no right to punish him, and the best he can do is offer advice and just try and be there while they work it out for themselves.

Ever seen the movie Rocket Boys? There's a scene in that movie that so reminds me of what would happen. The boys basically set up an experiment outside on one of their mom's brand new fence, and then seconds before it goes off realize they should be behind something.

Yeah. I swear if I ever get my hands on them there's going to be a smackdown like none other! I mean that's where my grandpa grew up!! His parents built that ranch and some punk breaks in and steals something that was apparently in the family for over a hundred years. Sure it was just a farm tool but that's not the point! Plus it still worked!
