My half an art trade with .I've never drawn ShinoTen before, and the art gods...seem to ironically approve o_o. But my sister said if not NejiTen it would be NejiLee (in that order) so....sorry Shino. I'm still going to have to invent someone for you.
My thought process went something like "ShinoTen huh?...What would they do as a couple?...................................................walks. I think they'd both like walks."

A really scary one is intelligent and attack in subtle ways. Ways that might not even be noticed. They have to always be at least three steps ahead, and have no reason for doing what they do other than the sick pleasure of it. They can have pasts that made them that way, sure, but it's not vengeance or anything like that. It's the twisted power trip.

*notes down* Ok! Thank you. ^_^ Sorry for the randomness I was just curious. I'm always curious about people think about villians because villians do so much to keep the story moving. Intelligent villians are my favorite to write!

Gruesome helps too. Truely horrifying villains are good. That's the appeal of Jack the Ripper (*thought of that example because there is a show on him on History Channel right now*). He didn't kill that many people, but the WAY he did it was awful.

Gruesome! Got it! Have you ever seen silence of the lambs? I saw it on TV and I couldn't look away. The villian was just so...he was so smart and so deranged, but they needed his help to catch someone else who was free and while not as smart, almost far more gruesome. I haven't heard much of Jack the Ripper except that he was really sick. History does seem to give good examples of villians.

People are twisted, it's fun to write, but not so much fun in reality.

Definately no fun in reality. But I love reading and writing a good villian! Ever read anything by Ted Dekker? I might have mentioned this one to you, but Skin by him was...dude the bad guy was just so intense and awesome!! Same with his book Three.
You should totally see it!! It's so...oh man is it freaky and disturbing but it's so good.
