Um...hm...how to explain this.Was watching the first Naruto Shippuden movie (the 3rd Naruto movie is my favorite for the pretty animation, but this one is SO much fun) and one of the lines the priestess says hit me rather hard for some reason. She says "Who wouldn't cry when someone close to them dies?"
For some reason, that reminded me of TenTen. In my mind, she has always tried to be strong and never lets anybody see her cry.
But if, for some reason, her team was taken from her...
In my mind, it was the fault of the Hyuuga Elders. They wanted to be rid of Neji, so they sent him on a suicidal mission. Lee, being Lee, went after him, and they were both killed. Now, TenTen is determined to take them out, at any cost.
The picture of her is based on one of the Manga covers with Haku on it. Lee and Neji are from Shippuden screenshots, because I wanted them as close to the show style as possible.
...Why such a dark angsty mood on such a pretty snowy day, Reg?

I really like the way this one turned out! TenTen is just so intense. And the way you did her hair this time...it really made the red in it stand out. Which adds to the blood and the dark theme of the picture.
It breaks your heart really. She is doing it for his smile (partly) but she'll never see it again...

I actually have to say this is one of your best pieces. The whole atmosphere is absolutely spot on with the story it's really cool how faded out Neji and Lee look in the background. The single tear down Tenten's face is very emotional and she looks very intense! Amazing work!
