it has been obvios in the show that there was something cruel going on there and probably still does.
I think that makes garnets concept so interessting.
She is made out of love and is not allowed to exist at homeworld.

Garnet's concept is rather interesting, though I think they made her a bit too perfect in the sense that she makes too few mistakes in the group. For example it would have been rather interesting if she had tricked Pearl, instead of Pearl tricking her. I would like to see her make a mistake or two. When Steven was having a bad time on the trip to Keystone state, they made it because of Ruby and Sapphire instead of Garnet. I would like to see her feel a sense of guilt, and apology. Then again, with future vision it seems that she will most likely make the right choice every time.

Well I can understand why you feel about her this way.
She seems perfect and the other call her a perfect relationships,
but the truth is, she isn't.
Her future vision is the reason why she's able to see the outcome, but that's about it.
She's often the most stable of the gems, true
but Garnet tends to act on intuition rather than seriously analyze a situation.
She lost her usual stoic demeanor when Steven aged so fast in Too many Birthdays
and started rigorously shaking him, thinking that violence was the answer.
She had to be stopped by Pearl and Amethyst or would've broken his neck or something.
In addition, she makes a reckless decision to fuse with Amethyst to form Sugilite, bringing whole Beach City in danger,
and creates an overly-exaggerated story while speaking to Connies mom over the phone.
She got lost in the game Beat Meat Mania and had to be stopped by Steven.
Then there's the fateful day when Steven climbs on the roof .. we all cried at this scene... I did.
She also does occationly not listen to the team. She didn't even foresee that Steven was sitting in Peridots escape pod and
almost hurled him out of the orbit. She didn't see what was Jasper holding in her hand, when she first attacked.
She didn't see, or didn't realize, that Pearl was fixing the communication hub,
to have a reason to fuse with her.
She isn't perfect, she can be tricked and she makes mistakes.
We also saw her guilt and tears in Keeping it together. She also said "I'm Sorry."

I suppose, I just notice that a ton of the characters have a bit of respect for her. So far all the characters have been shouted at, and scolded, and I guess it's just that Garnet had yet to be. Maybe because she's usually a pretty stern scolder. But now that you bring it up, I suppose she does have her short comings.

True, so far Garnet has been the leading force and was the one who pushed the
other gems in their directions. I guess because she knows that Pearl and Amethyst still have some
big issues to solve for such a task.
I think we'll see much more about her psyche and Ruby/Sapphire in future episodes.
Gosh I can't wait.

Well, for me I've noticed that Garnet only plits up when she's upset and under distress, so I don't want to see her split up, unless of course she does it on her own free will for positive reason.
