Derpy is sleeping after a hard day doing whatever it is that she does, delivering mail and anvils and such.I drew this in "Krita" which seems to be a nice alternative to GIMP.
Edit: gave Derpy more hair.

Ah, this is really nice! I love seeing other artists working seriously when it comes to rendering ponies! It amazes me how much difference in style you can find. The hair and bed are done fantastically here in my opinion, and I love the way you gave off a nice smooth shading scheme with accurate forms. Love it! Please do keep it up.

Krita, huh? I remember finding it slower and more cumbersome when I tried it, but with support for more color models, it did have some promise. Good to see you can get such good results with it; I'll have to give it another look, sometime.

Thanks.Β I just like some of the small differences, especially being able to change brush size by holding shift and dragging. But it's not perfect, I just updated to windows 8.1 and it broke Krita

Thank you, I couldn't decide how I wanted her wings, so I sketched them several times before settling for loosely tucked wings.
