Apple jack with a sugar cube. I painted the sugar cube about 10 times, still not happy with it; Guess I need to practice painting thing that aren't poniesRelated content

I think the sugar cube is actually the strongest part. Both the granular structure and the internal scattering of the light look pretty convincing.

Pinkie Pie: Applejack? Where are yo- *sniff sniff* Hey! Do I smell... sugar?
Granny Smith: Quick! Do something!
Applejack: I'm thinking! I'm thinking! *gasp* The manure!
Granny Smith: What about the manure?
Applejack: I'm going to cover the sugar with a protective canvas... *she took a large one and put it over the cube" like that and I'm going to put.... this smelly manure all over it.... *she tooks a shovel in her mouth and shoveled the manure on the cover*
Granny Smith: Wait! Don't do that! *sigh*
Applejack: *she stopped shoveling* What? Why?
Pinkie Pie arrived in front of them at this moment.
Pinkie Pie: Oh! There you are! What were you doing there?
Applejack: I... uh.... *she put the shovel down* was making a heap of manure.... right there.
Pinkie Pie: Uh? I swore I smelled a very familiar smell come from here.... Hmmmm...
Applejack and Granny Smith were looking at her others.
Pinkie Pie: Oh well. Maybe it's because I'm hungry. Do you still have one of your incredibly delicious apple pie?
Applejack: Uh.... of course Pinkie. I'm sure Granny Smith would love to give you one...
Pinkie Pie: Yeepee! Pie! Pie! Pie!
Granny Smith: Okay, child, wait for me at the house, I still have something to say to Applejack.
Pinkie Pie: Okay. See you later. *she trotted herself out*
Applejack: Pfew! That was close... You have something to tell me Granny?
Granny Smith: Yes. I was trying to tell you something about this cover.
Applejack: What about it?
Granny Smith: It was full of holes in it.
