Description
taken somewhere in the midst of one of the most intense dust storms on record .. and driving through a neverending thick red fog, on the road between broken hill and mildura .. it was brilliant ..apologies for the dust on the lens, but this is how it was ..

Ah, I thought you would have.
Yeah, Australia looks like a really spectacular place in general. I'd kill to visit.
You're very welcome.

That sure was quite a dust storm. I've got some photos somewhere from before/during/after it.

There was a dust storm in NSW? Wow. I sort of wish I was there. In a car, that is, watching, not being in the open and being buffeted about.
And it would be understandable if you had dust in your lens, after all you were photographing a dust storm

Beautiful! Seems a little bit scary though, somehow reminds me of Stephen King's Desperation. People trapped out in the desert

it was actually incredibly humid, and the wind wanted to rip the car doors off every time i needed to take photographs .. and then having to hold one's breath for as long as possible to avoid sucking back the fine powdered grit ..
