Description This is a two point perspective drawing of random shapes. I started on paper in two shades of blue (should have stuck with one). Then after attempting to clean it in photoshop I decided to ink it outside photoshop and try again. Much better .

This is the first of a series of perspective drawings I'm working on. The next one will be submitted within the week. I don't want to upload them all at once .

Edit:
I replaced a pure white background with this attempt at faux paper (it looks more like a gray t-shirt lol). What do you think?

Your line work turned out really clean, and the perspectives are great. The only thing that appears to need work is your curved half-pipe type shape. Perspectives on curves like that are a bitch to get right, and usually require a french curve tool. Looks like you may have used one on that, but didn't smooth out the lines. Looks pretty angular. Looks good so far, can't wait to see where you go with this!

Heh, the reason the curves look funny is because I just winged it . As far as I know, I don't have anything laying around the house that would help with those, but I wanted a curve anyway lol.

The one I'll probably be submitting next has a cylinder shape but it's a little better . I just have to re-ink it in photoshop and submit it.

Yeah, those curves are pretty tricky. Same with putting certain angles into perspective. Honestly, I winged it too half the time in drafting class. My first year, this is almost entirely what I did. Well, that and adding dimensions and showing each of 3 views. Hey, that makes me want to make another character sheet. Off I go!

Drawing curves with a pencil is a little better, still somewhat odd looking but better. The pen for my tablet/lappy is another story. Well at least with straight lines I don't have a problem, on paper or computer, now that I'm using a line tool .
