There they go again, making fun of me. I think the some of the humor behind Dawson Jesse and Leroy is that they can make fun of my style more than any other characters. I made a promise to myself, a resolution if you will, that I'd use Dawson, Jesse and Leroy in more pictures this year. This is the first result of that. Sure it's nothing much, after all it's just to get used to drawing the characters. Actually now that I think of it, this was to see if I could ink them in my current methods, and then color them in the scribble style. The refresher course on drawing them came in the form of a large pen scribble sheet that I have yet to scan.Related content

Ya, I've been trying to find a good situation for a comic with them, but so far nothing pops into my head. They really need more love.

perhaps something along the lines of a Comic strip would be cool, now the story i dont know, hard to tell what situations you could put them into but i think a comic strip would help you keep it simple as well as entertaining.

I like his huge eyes with the small pupils. It makes him seem...hm, what's the word? Not dumb, but not highly bright, either. Maybe just really obvious and conspicuous is what I mean. I dunno...

again thanx for the watch. Really Dawson isn't really as bright as he's probably expected to be (which may account for the job losses) What he lacks in brains he makes up for in loyalty though. He's one of those true blue characters.

see the original comic idea for Dawson and Jesse was them with different jobs. they'd have a different one on every comic and the idea was that he somehow lost each one in some way leaving him open for the next job/comic.
