Wanted to try a bit of line colouring. I did this a while ago and decided to upload it since I wont have Photoshops for a bit yet.Still feels unfinished to me. We'll see what happens.

that's totally impressive. i think the style is very fitting to the HellBoy original...i wonder about those comments about a more contrasting background. there's little else to do really, i suppose you could add more of a cave like thing or underground. feel, but it's a tough balance. it might get too busy and distract from the character...
anyhow, i'm totally jealous of your skills...

Thank you! I thought the colors were a little too understated at first, but I grew to like the feel of it all together. Or I got lazy, I don't remember.

Best coloring I've ever seen of this picture so far. Reminds of how Mignola's covers are colored. I think it's rather perfect.

I think it's the background that doesn't contrast enough. Good work none the less.

I think maybe it's the simple shading and the fact that only the lines really recieved highlights that makes it feel unfinished. Don't get me wrong, it totally works, it just doesn't feel as complete as a lot of your other stuff does.
