I'm still on the fence as to which category I'd like to put this under. The piece is supposed to represent two things: a reoccuring dream I used to have before drawing this, and a tribute to those lost loved ones that slowly fade from memory, yet never quite disappear entirely..005 Zig pen on cardstock.
Usually I'm OK with people colouring my lineart, but in this case, I'm gonna ask that no one alter copy or redistribute without my expressed permission. Also, I don't have any plans on doing more to this piece, I'm fully aware of the technical flaws in it, so I'm asking for the crits to be minimal
Edit: I'm throwing up this WIP because I'm sick of the other version and I found an amazing little tutorial in an issue of imagine FX. I'll upload the finished version at a higher res and update everyone that has me on watch. Sorry again!

I really like the mark you used, & how you made the sky interesting with that kind of Starry Night-like mark. And I know it says no crit & you said you wouldn't work on it anymore, but the figure really stands out from everything else because her lines are so smooth, & everything else it a little jagged or wobbly in their lines. But then again, that was probably intentional & I need to shut up. ._.
Anyway. I like it a lot.

Heh, yeah I didn't think I was going to touch this piece again, but I knew there was a tone i was missing after it was done. I wanted to achieve a distorted filmgrain quality that I couldn't do with pen alone(hence the garbled bg). I don't foresee any further changes, however.
...But I might.

You put so much work and effort into this piece. Its stunningly beautiful, and the girl is entrancing. Pen on cardstock isn't always an easy medium to work with but you did it fantastically.
