That's quite the twist on top of what ya did have for origin stories, so that means their lives are kinda pre-destined or some one behind the scene pulling the strings for the right place/right time sort of deal to get to their own trigger related result?
It brings a lot of questions, if created were they made to be heroes, monsters or something else entirely? (In before it becomes a pet project because some one was bored) and is Shadow going to be tied into the upcoming stories? Wouldn't he technically be the first in that sense?

The characters' origins in the Sonic canon are pretty vague. Even the games are probably not consistent with themselves, never mind the various alternate universes.
Before Adventure in the games we see a few anthros and the only human is Eggman, so it's pretty vague. From Adventure to Unleashed we see the anthro characters in a world populated by humans. So where did the anthro characters come from in the first place? From Colors onward it appears to be a different world with no humans (besides Eggman), and in Forces we see that the world is populated by anthros.
We don't know much about where most of the characters came from. Shadow we know that he's an artificial life form created to be the "ultimate lifeform" and his own game further expands on his story. And we know who Cream's mom is. That's pretty much it. What about the others? Do anthros tend to become independent of their parents at a young age so the only parent we see is Vanilla? Is there enough conflict that all the main characters have been orphaned or otherwise separated from their parents at some point and don't know where they are if they are even alive? Or could the main characters have been born as normal animals and mutated into anthros later on? The real answer is probably "SEGA doesn't give a crap because it's not important", though.

I think Sonic X might explain what's gonig on. The classic games ,Sonic,Heroes, Colors and Forces take place in Sonic homeworld (I will call it Mobius for now), but the other games take place in Eggman world (Earth). Since Sonic Adventure, the only mobians we see are Sonic and his friends.Like, there are no one like them! I think Robotnik come in Sonic world and decide to take over, but after a few failuers he give up and came back to his world and Sonic and his friends folowed Egggman.Β
As for Sonic origins, I think Eggman is involt. Let's came back to Sonic Adventure 2 and Shadow the Hedgehog, there is cleary a connection between Sonic and Shadow, they can both control chaos energy. My theory is that Robotnik wanted to recreat Shadow from his grandfather notes but didn't have Black Doom DNA and so, Sonic is blue. I think people didn't "see" Sonic as Shadow or Shadow as Sonic, I think they "feel" them been one and same thanks to the chaos energy.Β
As for the others parents, they are ether dead or on Mobius. This is just my theory ( a game theory). It's suckes that Sega didn't give as a real origin for the characters from Sonic univerese.

Which kinda doesnβt make sense. I mean if thatβs true, how is Angel Island on both the human world and Mobius? How was Eggman even on Mobius while Gerald was on Earth? I could go on.
Frankly the two world things adds way too many questions than there should be and the series should just be better off if both these worlds are just one world.
