It's been quite a long time since I've played around with 3D art. Seeing as I may be going back to school for that this fall, I figured I'd better get on the horse again. Anyhow, it's not Maya, but it will surely do. Here's Krystal looking rather stranded in the desert.Krystal property of Nintendo (Her model belongs to Little Dragon)

You know, I was thinking the same thing too. But, perhaps that's adding a touch of authenticity. Bright blue sky with little cloud cover, faded blacktop, pale desert rocks...all of it would make for a bright scene from which Krystal would have to shield her eyes. The sky might be the only thing I'd try darkening, and perhaps everything else if it doesn't seem to fit.
