Poetry is done well when one can convey something so well in the least amount of words possible. You did that and then did it so eloquently. I love the imagery. It's comical and in a way slightly cynical. It struck a cord on my heartstrings. Congrats on the DD.

I love it, I know its also from haiku's rules, but I just have to say this: it's lovely, sad yet short and straight to the point! just how haikus are made, or should be... because some aren't so beautiful and sad like yours... I can actually feel it!
