SAMUS IS BACK BABEE! But seriously this game is fantastic. If you're a fan of Metroid and you have a 3ds do yourself a favor and pick this game up.I know I've done a power suit (from Zero Mission) and a Metroid Prime Varia Suit Samus before, but this pose is her classic Metroid 2 pose and it is probably my favorite version and definitely the most detail I put into making Samus.

Just some Adobe Illustrator CS6. Blend tool on on the glowy parts and outer glow effect. Nothing too fancy.

The glow effects contrast with the flat design scheme beautifully. It's like three layers. The black background, Samus, and then the glow. Superb
