When I saw the unveiling of Playmates Toys' new Splinter action figured based on Nickelodeon upcoming 2012 TMNT cartoon, I thought his design looked pretty cool.Some fans, however, didn't believe he looked sufficiently rat-like, at least from certain angles.
My friend Kevin McGill made the observation that Nick's new Splinter somewhat resembled a llama, and so the seed was sown in my head to make this little parody. Plus, I love drawing TMNT art inspired by the classic toy line. Flush-O-Matic for the WIN!
