Out dated? Really? It seems such a nice shot. I googled your camera and it says it's an 8 mega pixel. That right? If so, I'm surprised as my own camera is a 10 Mega Pixels and I seem to get pretty hazy shots.

But I'm getting anew UV filter for it so that should be a thing of the past when it arrives...

Yup, it's an 8 MP. I got it about 5 years ago or so. I think the reason why it's so clear is because I use a tripod and sharpen afterwards in Photoshop. UV filter, huh? That's interesting. I've never used filters because I don't know much about them. I know that UV filters help reduce reflections and stuff, but that's about all I know. I'm interested in getting an IR filter. :]

I so need to get a Tripod! I forgot to get one last night when I was on a 'filter spree.' Lol! And I always forget to sharpen. Lol! I'm still experimenting with photography editing in PSE. UV filters do that but they also make distance shots (i.e shots of hills maybe in the far off distance) clearer. Like, you know how looking into the far distance you see it is kinda hazy? It makes that better. What does an IR filter do???

Tripods are very very helpful. Even if you have a quick shutter speed but you're still holding the camera, you willll get shaky camera syndrome. Lol. An IR filter only lets the infrared spectrum come through the lens, and it makes really awesome pictures. I don't know much about the fundamentals of it, but you have to search IR photos.. you will be knocked off your feet.

I'll look up IR filters and photos taken with one. Thanks.
