They are in scale with a twelve inch figure so you can hold them they would just look really small

No one asked, and I would have to think about it, lots of work on that thing. You know it's only about six inches long right.

ThanksMore of a build than a sculpt, I use a mill and lathe to machine plastics and modeling board.

OliverBrig In reply to japanass [2010-08-24 20:35:42 +0000 UTC]
This was done by hand from scratch. I've started to get into digital modeling but I haven't posted any of that stuff yet, I still have a lot to learn.

How big is this overall, is it actual size? Amazing work this stuff just blows me away!

OliverBrig In reply to CoughffinKnail [2009-01-17 20:25:30 +0000 UTC]
Thanks very much for the compliment. Hearing things like that always helps. As far as the size goes The boomshot is a little under seven inches long. All the Gears of War prototypes are made at 200 percent so the figure is twelve or thirteen inches tall and accessories are scaled to it. Makeing them full size would be a lot of fun but they would be huge. The company I work for did release a lancer at 36 inches but that still isn't full size it would just get to expensive.
