Everything for gears was built for twelve inch figures. Thats just the size NECA makes prototypes for the action figures.

OliverBrig In reply to bulldog21 [2012-03-23 14:16:57 +0000 UTC]

I used to work for NECA so both, the pictures are of the prototypes I made for NECA. They send them over to China and panagraph them to action figure size and mass produce them. If you look on some of the older gears figure packages my name is on there somewhere.

The design on the back pack is cool but holy crap was it hard to build. I think it was one of the toughest things I've ever built.

Ah gears of war flash back... the flamers are mean guys^^

The amount of detail you get in there is insain. You must have some very tiny tools

Oh my god how did you do that? Could you please tell me the tools and materials you used?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

OliverBrig In reply to H-the-Bunny [2009-08-04 13:45:58 +0000 UTC]

Sorry it took me a bit to get back to you, I've been a little over whelmed. I use a lot of modeling board, styrene and ABS plastic. As far as tools go I have a small machine shop so I use a mill, lathe saws, sanders, along with a bunch of hand files and carving tools. You just have to spend time figuring out what tool will give you the shape your trying to get.
