Now this is what I would have loved to see, the sequels set in the Legends canon with some proper successor TIEs.
Well done.

The First Order sure has the money to make it happen.
Thanks!

I would love to see a picture of someone standing next to the opening just for scale.

I think i see a Storm Trooper next to the cannon... no wait, just dirt on my monitor...

That's a pretty close approximation to the scale of a human compared to that monster!

Looks like there are a couple of Tie Fighters sitting on a platform to the left of the opening...

Still and all the size of such a thing would be hard to grasp.

Thanks to your inquiry, I went ahead and immortalized a close up of the base...
Enjoy!

I just watched that this afternoon. Again.
The movie isn't standing up with time.
Sadly.

I like it but understand why many Star Wars fans want more.

yeah.
Even when I saw it in the theaters, I realized it was just a remake of Episode four and fanboy pandering.
I really don't know if episode 9 will tank or not. I fear it will.
I was always a Star Trek fan more than Star Wars. But a lot of my friends are slobbering Star Wars fans who "can't understand Star Trek."
(apparently a phaser is "too complicated" to understand, but a blaster easy too. --duh! Its a ray gun!)
(They also became terrified of raptors after seeing Jurassic Park, and were convinced that they were now going to escape from some secret government lab.
--I had such fun egging their paranoia on.)
oh well.

We will always have the gullible with us...
Fandom seems to have unclear lines of demarcation when it comes to Star Wars vs Star Trek.
As far as people that don't get either, one of the funniest moments for me was hearing a mundane couch potato ask a guy decked out in a Starfleet uniform if he was Dr. Spock from one of those Star Wars movies!

No way! People like that exist? Lost track with all the modern star wars and treks, they just don't have the 'feel' of the classics.

Yep.
I know those people too.
And I know those who are encyclopediacs on Star Wars, and poo-poo Star Trek as "unrealistic"
and Star Trek Fans who are the same to Star Wars fans.
It's fun to watch "trekkers" vs. "trekkies" try to fist fight as well.
And then there are we sad nerds who are so well versed in both (and more) that I'll never see what boobs look like in my life time...
