The view is actually inside a cylinder or tube, similar to a Dyson Sphere you mentioned.
A physicist named Gerard K. O'Neill wrote all about it in his 1976 book, "The High Frontier: Human Colonies in Space".
He said a large cylinder composed of moon rock could be built first. It would then need to be spun enough to simulate gravity within. After that, oxygen, dirt, water, plants, animals and people could be added along the inside surface.
An excellent inside out planet concept isn't it?

I did a redo of the above piece to rid it of some nasty blurring of NCC-1701-D.
