I really like this piece, love the texture.
Also the pict is really interesting with this fish. I like the colours and the composition a lot!

For your first linocut, this is pretty epic. I tried them when I was fourteen/fifteen and couldn't get the balance right. Splendid stuff! Did you make a variety of layers? (And I'm going to look at the link now.)

There was 4 layers on this one : pale blue, blue, red and finally black.
I'm trying to create something more complex for the next one : 7 layers... but I'm lost in the details!
"Does that small dot belong to layer 1, 3 or 5? And that microscopic line???? Arrgl!"

I love how the red on the sleeves forms an arrow pointing to the lantern. For a first linocut this is great!
