Description
This piece was made primarily for the "Elephants of Kaimere" mini-series by Keenan Taylor for it's Spec Evo setting of "Tales of Kaimere".

A phylogenetical tree showing the taxonomy of the orders, clades, groups, families, lineages and species of Proboscidean and elephants of our real-life, and their presence of Kaimere.

Here showing the Elephantimorpha, the group which include the all the True Elephants, separated in two categories :

1 - the Archaic Elephants (every families and members outside the Elephantidae, but inside Elephantimorpha) ;

2 - and the Modern Elephants, or Extant Elephants (all the members inside Elephantidae) ;

By taking into account all the information officially established in the Lore of "Tales of Kaimere" by Keenan.

The phylogenetic tree was made by taking the current view of the proboscidean order disposition and the current knowledge of the different relationship, closely or not related to each others.

Illustrations used here belong and are owned by Keenan Taylor and Cisiopurple.

(Note : the Khorobi, as presented initially in the "Elephant Day Special! Elephants of Kaimere" original video, 12 August 2021, here : www.youtube.com/watch?v=qbIo_E… , was presented as an Amebelodontid. However, by precaution, because Keenan respond me once in a DeviantArt comment discussion, that he will likely repurposed it as a Gomphotere instead, I put it under at two groups under it.)
