Not my typical picture.I'm not completely satisfied with this, but I somehow felt I just had to upload it. Still, I don't know exactly why I don't like it.
It's a bit odd, that something so brutal and harsh can look so peaceful.
Please let me hear your opinion, it's a great help

I think it's absolutely beautyful, my definition of such a thing is different from others, but i love how raw it looks. Obviously you said you shot it, but if you didn't know, then you could let your mind wander and think something was chewing on the hide maybe. Good work

very disturbing.....
at first i thought it to be some strange field/flower thing, and eventually i could see that it was blood, but i still needed to skim the other comments to know exactly what this was.
i personally hate the idea of hunting, but whatever. 
to me, this is a morbidly fascinating abstract-y work of art, and i love it.

beautiful colors and focus.
One thing I would suggest would be to crop off the bottom portion that isn't in focus, so that you have a clean transition from focused to blur going bottom to top. I think that will put a lot more positive emphasis on the overall shot.

Yeah, I know it can look a little "wrong", and I've actually tried cropping it at several occasions. But somehow I find the composition a lot uglier if I do crop it, so I decided to just keep it as it is.

This is intense.
At first, from a distance i thought it was speckles of paint, then when i opened it, i realized.
This is painful to look at.

This caught my eye. I actually thought it was indeed a peaceful picture in a field with good use of depth of field. Was I surprised. There's something strangely beautiful and yet disturbing about this piece. It definately invokes curiosity.
