Not my typical picture.I'm not completely satisfied with this, but I somehow felt I just had to upload it. Still, I don't know exactly why I don't like it.
It's a bit odd, that something so brutal and harsh can look so peaceful.
Please let me hear your opinion, it's a great help

Well, my father is a hunter. His father was a hunter. His father again was a hunter, and it probably goes deeper than that. It's tradition, and it's a great way of getting out in the wild. And above all, it's exciting.

Nah, I wasn't offended, I just wondered. Great piece - I don't know what makes it great - itself, or the juxtaposition of peaceful composition and brutal origin. It looks great AND evokes a lot of unusual emotions. Reminds me partly of "The Village" (a good movie that was ruined by being advertised as horror) and partly of WW1 literature - "Pull the parapet's poppy // to stick behind my ear" - Isaac Rosenberg. I forget the name of the poem though. But the poppy fields, is what I mean. And again, the same juxtaposition - lots of men being killed all over the place and then lots of poppies growing out of the blood-watered ground to wave peacefully in the wind.
