Their wings are real parrots feathers attached to the canvas. The feathers are from happy living parrots of my friend Carmel, she just collected them for me from the bottom of their cage.

These two parrots seem in love. Love their facial expression like theres nothing else in the world that matters.
Your paintings skills are awesome. To start critiquing this piece, I had to go through your gallery, trying to find other similar works, to know whats your painting style. The background seems really appropriate. The big problems here, in my point of view, is that theirs wings are to small, and the whole painting seems a little blurry. The idea of having real feathers is great, but that they are not in proportion with the parrots. Makes them look like penguins, in the way they're fat and cant fly XD.
As far as the rest, as I said before, they are well colored. Love the reds, greens, whites and blues. They seem in pace and well achieved.

this is so cute! it is really well drawn, the lighting and shading is great, there is emotion in the parrots' eyes and the feathers really top off the piece nicely by adding a creative edge to it. well done!

What a lovely painting! (My parents had a pair of them, too. for 18 years. So I love this birds as I grew up with them.)
