Oh I love Daimos... Voltron, I have a love-hate thing with it, I think... the robot looks great but it reminds me too much of Voltes V.

I really wanted the Voltron toy for my birthday... it did look cool. Too expensive, so it didn't happen.

Me too! The die-cast one with the plastic flying saucer. Had it for my birthday. I miss that toy.

I don't remember mine coming with a flying saucer, and I definitely wished that I remembered the store I got him at - I wanted Mazinger and Rayden too. I had Mazinger, but he was the waist-high one - and he was my Shogun Warriors' Godzilla's greatest opponent. Remember the old Marvel Comics Shogun Warriors comic?

My Grendizer was the 5-6 inch one... his hands flew when you press small buttons on the arms. And you can fit him in the saucer, just like in the cartoon.
Cool, you had a Mazinger Z. My cousin had a Raydeen, it was a huge and heavy toy, maybe waist-high when I was a kid. Oh, yeah, I had the first three issues of Shogun Warriors! Loved Combatra and Dangard Ace too, although not as much as I did Raydeen!
