I designed this car based off of what i would like to drive. I mean everything from the colour the style are the things that i like even if they are outdated. It is a completely imagined car, but it will probably finds it way into my story.I used good ol Photopaint for this one. I started with the flats and just kept adding to it from basic shadows up to the final highlights and details. nothing fnacy, just 'screens' and 'multiplies'. I used gradients to get the even shading, but I did use a lot of brush strokes too.
The original file is not too big either, only 2400px across. I have to get back to my real work so i only had a limitted amount of time on this one .
This was a very nice experience, and I think I will do some more of these.

Wow .. this really looks impressive ... did you draw or design any front/inside shots for it .. i feel for something you feel personal about as "the car you would like to drive" you really would want to show more shots of the car from different angles .. including a look of how its saloon and driver cockpit look like .. just saying XD

that is awesome! I went to the academy of art is SF for car design and this is one of the best that Ive seen in a long time. So I love the style of it and the smooth lines ^^

I definitely like the color you have chosen for your car. It's also the same color i would want for my car but i have a Toyota SR'87 (my all time fave) and such color won't fit for it (unlucky me). The only thing that i'm worried about in this design is the size of the backlight , the design of it is definitely great! the size is all that i'm disturbed about.

it's a cross modern and late 90's style. where are you heading too? the back looks futuristic, but the skirting looks like it was opt from the 90's, doesn't look right.

its looks like a dodge stratus r/t mixed with a infiniti g35x with a custom bumper exhaust cut-outs, IC AN MAKE THAT for you if you had the money

Vaguely reminds me of a Cadillac. Can't say I like the wheels too much, but that back end is great. Maybe you should try to get a job as a car concept artist somewhere. I think this is definitely marketable.

Thats Badass Omar. Reminds me a bit of the Acura TL Type-S. Got that darkened tail light, large performance sedan sort of look. Very menacing.

I took my 325i in to the body shop today and they gave me a new chevy malibu as a rental. The guy told me that it handled better than my BMW. I was like "huh"? The malibu is nice but definitely had more body roll not to mention it understeered on even slight turns as its FWD. I'll tell the insurance guy that he's smoking crack next time I see him. My 3 series Bimmer is the best handling car I've ever owned. Just wish it had more power.
