This is a page 7 from issue 1 of the "Street Fighter Legends : Sakura" comic that was released last year.This was one of my favourite pages. The situation since there arent any word bubbles onthis page is basically this, Sakura is exhausted form training the night before and is messing up all her classes. Her friend Kei asks her why she is so tired and gets it for talking in class. She becomes angry as Sakura in the last panel for the fact that Sakura's inattentiveness has now got her in trouble.
You'll note in the middle panel the kid with the large ears to the right of the page, that is all i will say, i wonder if you will catch the joke, lol.
Hope you like! Thought it might be interesting to have you see it without the word bubbles and sound FX.
(Volleyball and no Natsu you might ask?? Natsu goes to a different school than Sakura, thats why she is not seen playing volley ball with them in the third panel at the top right)

I recently bought those comics and to say tha least i was highly impressed. A nice refreshing break from tha usual violent SF comics. I liked tha dark hadou Dan lol Dan kicks ass!

I really liked your comic. As a Sakura fan I never expected a comic about her, but I was pleased with the result. I only wished there were more than 4 books...Looking forward to your next work!!

Hey Omar,
a very nice work you came up with there, it's interesting to see it without that speech bubbles and all, as you can solely focus on what the drawings itself tell you. Especially for me, as I'm rather word/reading fixed, and if there's something to read on a page I'd rather sift through it and read instead of really savouring those drawings.
So I guess this is a lection on composition then!
I like the upper four panels best. Of course panel 1 is funny, as I can imagine what it is like. Happens to me from time to time, too... And I can feel the pain of the pupil with the large ears in panel 4! Just the tiny "blam!" (or whatever it would've been...) in panel 5 is enough to make me wince. Felt it often enough (no, I don't have such large ears).

Grabbed Volume 1 a few a weeks back and I thought it was a great read. Sakura Legends was actually quite surprising as I thought it might have been a bit more of a serious read. However, I loved the humour and artwork you guys injected into this.

Yeah, it was a bit of a gamble, but in the end it was a good choice it seems, i just hope next time around I can put a lot more quality into it, each book was draw and coloured by me every 30 - 40 days. My co worker Shane had to be called in for colour assists in the third and fourth issues, and half of the second issue.

If memory serves me right, Hinata, Sakura and Natsu all hang out at the same cake-shop.
Sakura's involvment in Rival Schools is purely to beat people up. XD (I think Hinata tells her about it.)

This really is a great page. But I think my favorite panel is the first one, but I think that drifting chalk scribble would have been my answer even in a cognitive state (I never fancied math, and therefore never was good at math).

If you go to your local comic store, you should be able to find the four issues, but you can also buy the a tradepaper back which has all four issues bound together and is smaller than a normal comic book size, like and illustrated novel.
