Description
Hey! Finally I'm done with version 0.2 of The Interface. First of all, I'd like to apologize for being MIA for a while. I've hada lot of other stuff to do, but that's a long story, so let's skip right to the good stuff!
The Interface has gone through yet another complete rewrite. This basically means that the code is; more organized, more optimized, easier to edit and generally just better written. In addition, of course, there are some new features!
** File browsing within The Interface:
By using the FileList plugin by Elestel you can now browse through folders. This new feature makes it easy to setup bookmarks and application links. The Lower Green Bar has also been changed to incorporate this new function to act as a complete file browser (with some limitations of course).
** Automated Positioning System:
The Interface will now adjust it's own position based on what screen resolution you have.
The currently supported resolutions are:
- 1900x1200
- 1920x1080
- 1680x1050
- 1440x900
- 1280x800
Wallpapers for these resolutions are of course included.
** New Win Amp controls:
The Lower Blue Bar now has all standard Win Amp functions.
This includes; basic buttons, song title and a duration bar.
** And a lot of small things!
Enjoy!
Best Regards,
~Omardude

I've admired this skin since I first saw it some time ago.
I'm hoping the update will include the standard widescreen netbook res as well (1024x600).

Thanks, the next update will make it possible, however the skin will not be scalable yet, so it will look a little weird on 1024x600. Don't worry though, I'll look at this as a request. A 1024x600 version is now on the to do list.

I liked the clean and simplistic layout of this theme but when I tried to load it, I was pulling a little hair.
My screen resolution is 1440 x 900 and not the designed 1680x1050. Any pointers or am I just out of luck?

V0.2 supports your resolution now. I guess your luck has turned.

As said in the ReadMe The Interface is currently only compatible with 1680x1050, so yeah, you're going to run into some problems. (It would take some time to customize it for a 1440x900 work area. However, in the upcoming update (v0.2) The Interface will be compatible with several screen resolutions. Among other things it will also be easier to configure (by using RainConfigure and the FileList Plugin). So sit tight, the next update will arrive soon.

That is weird. What time does The Interface show and what's your system time? Have you made alterations to the code? What version of rainmeter are you running?

man, that looks beautiful, it may not be user friendly, but so far it looks user friendly, if u want any suggestions from me, it would be to try and model it more after sony's xmb os used on the ps3 and psp. looks really good tho, keep it up

Thank you! It's user friendly as an interface, but when it comes to configuring it to your personal needs, it's a pain in the ass.
Anyways, I'll take your advice and see if I can get any inspiration from that.
