My second entry for the KyuCatcher contest, held by andI changed my mind last minute on what I was going to do for my second entry. I'm glad I did, because I like this idea so much more than my previous one. I was looking around for a location that I liked the look of that was in Skyrim and looked at the Weynon Stones out of curiousity. I was also hoping to find an enemy that was weak to fire as well for the picture. This seemed like a nice location, plus the Ice Wraiths were weak to fire.
I'm pleased with how this picture turned out. I was trying to focus more on composition with this one, and I was also trying to make Moon and Kyu really stand out against the cold background. Also messed with multiple light sources, as I imagined the Ice Wraiths glowed.

I swear that this looks familiar. That background reminds me of a place somewhere in Skyrim which has two or three Ice Wraiths patrolling the area. What was it called? xD *taps chin* Weynon Stones. That's it! elderscrolls.wikia.com/wiki/We… I knew it looked familiar.

The background is perfect.
Moon and Kyu are battling the deadly Ice Wraiths.
And the Ice Wraiths are creatures you do run into while you explore the land of Skyrim. They are no fun to deal with at a low level. xD

Is it odd that just today I picked up my Skyrim game and stumbled across Weynon for the first time?
WUUUUUT.
Out of all the places I could come across in Skyrim, it just happened to be this specific one that OmbraniWolf did? Two Ice Wraiths attacked me, and Shadowmere, Illia and I all countered, and then a third one appeared after the other two fell, but a much higher level and resistance to my Fire Destruction Spells. XD

I was so excited when I picked up Skyrim. The Shrine of Julianos looked awesome, but I was missing some items. Seeing Alduin again brought back some good memories.
xD It was bound to happen sooner or later. It took me a while to discover all the places in Skyrim, and it's a bigish map. I love to explore~
I got a troll there once, it didn't happen very often. Yup! That's what happens when you first discover Weynon for the first time. Shadowmare is like a tank in Skyrim. xD Seriously, it's the best and coolest horse. A third Ice Wraith appeared after defeating the two? And it was resistant to your fire magic? That's kinda strange. XD Dang Ice Wraiths. They are sneaky.

Yep, that's what I was shooting for! I'm glad it looks accurate, I spent a lot of time looking at pictures of it trying to make it look right.

Haha I'm glad they are tougher enimes. I was a bit worried that I had made an epic fight scene with easy enimes. I don't know much about Skyrim unfortunately.

When you're a low level they're quite tough bad guys esame story for the saber cat. xD Once you level up a bit though they should become easy. Skyrim was probably my second all time favorite game for the PS3. Uncharted was first~

Yup! It's really hard to level up when you're a high level in some games. I miss the days when I played on my PS3 from whenever I got up to midnight. I reckon you'll like it, Wolfy. ^^ Go explore the map and see what you can discover.

And I'm loving that background! It really reminds me of those creepy ruins you stumble across in the wilderness that are guarded by necromancers! Eeeeerie!
